Dear Reader,

the association of Securities Dealers was established in 1997 as an interest representing organization. In addition to direct interest representation it's goal was to contribute to the development of the securities market by increasing the quality of investment services, making connections between business partners safer and developing the legal environment regulating investment activities and its name was changed to Association of Investment Services Providers.

Besides the high-level professional requirements, technical prescriptions and the statutory requirements they must comply with in their business relations our members are also expected to pay due care to statisfying all of their obligations irrespective of and under all circumstances and to avoid even the suspection of having infringed with the relevant ethical norms. Our members are continuosly followed up whether they statisfy or not the requirements set towards them.

We want to contribute the the regulations concerning investment services be comprehensive, unambiguous, clear and of a type to contribute to the further development of the securities market relying on this ethical basis and exploiting the experiences of our experts. We are and wish to be in the future too a forum of dissolving law interpretation and other uncertainities, and also want contribute to making the operation of investment companies safer and thereby to facilitate the undisturbed operation of the Hungarian capital market.
